One can hope for little more joy in life than hearing a friend is done with chemo.

Sometimes, the world seems almost fair. Almost. And while I never helped him with prayers (because I haven't anything to pray to, myself) I will continue with my hopes and wishes--all I've got--that he stay well. And that the world remain just a tiny bit proper and right.
